Buenos Aires is the Capital of Argentina and the center of the political, economic and intellectual life of the country.  Buenos Aires has a strong European influence which his reflected by its refined taste in cooking, its luxury boutiques and in the elegance of its inhabitants.  Despite modern constructions and dynamic activity, it has managed to preserve old traditions and charming corners. The cosmopolitan atmosphere and the individual personality of each of its neighborhoods fascinate its visitors.  Almost 13 million people live there and can enjoy the plentiful nightlife.

During the day, a wide variety of attractions are offered:  museums, art galleries, antique stores, large green areas and parks, renowned sporting events and golf courses.  This is the birth place of tango music, which is included in the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

This evening, meet Sanjay Goel for our Welcome to Buenos Aires Reception.

Buenos Aires to Iguazu (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) - This morning after an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Iguazu.  Upon arrival into Iguazu, you will go to a local restaurant for lunch before our tour of the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls. Iguazu Falls – nature blessed the Argentine, Brazilian and Paraguayan border with a show of her splendid talent.

Iguazu Falls leave every visitor speechless.  Imagine standing a few meters away from an impressive mass of water; a total of 275 falls dropping over 70m (230 ft).  Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) is the most impressive waterfall, where the falling water gives the illusion of magical rainbows.  The National Park is full of exotic subtropical vegetation surrounding the falls: several plant species with giant trees, ferns, lianas and orchids, 400 species of colourful birds (toucans, parrots, woodpeckers, humming birds and butterflies, with fascinating vivid colours and designs), and other fauna such as jaguar, tiger-cat, foxes, tapir and monkeys. Iguazu National Park was designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO, while the close Jesuit Missions have been declared Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. After lunch, we will depart for our tour of Iguazu Falls Argentinean side with a private train ride and great adventure including zodiacs and open air trucks.

Departing from the Visitors Center, you will board a gas-propelled train at the main station, which takes you to the upper falls circuit and the Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo), the most prominent and one of the highest falls.  Enjoy the views from a strategic lookout point resting on the side of the gorgeous Devil’s Throat.  Then, you can walk more than 3km (1.87 mi.) along the Iguassu River DCanyon, via the lower circuit and the upper circuit to appreciate the flora and fauna, always feeling the almost 270 individual waterfalls up close. After enjoying the falls up close, we will go to the Melia Iguazu Hotel to check-in and rest before meeting for dinner. Overnight at the Melia Iguazu Hotel.

Iguazu (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner credit) -  This morning after an early breakfast, you will be picked up to view Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side. Departing the hotel, you will drive over the border to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to walk along the paths following cascades and then walk along the catwalk that leads very close to the bottom of Devil’s Throat. You will be impressed by the first panoramic views of the Argentinean side including the Two Sisters, Bozzeti, Superior Circuit and San Martin Island where he move ‘The Mission’ was filmed. The promenade shows a complete and panoramic view of the falls.

Our next stop will be for our Helicopter View of the Falls – everyone will have the opportunity to experience this incredible flight experience over the Iguassu National Park Brazilian side and Iguassu Falls, observing one of the most beautiful falls in the world with the Devil’s Throat. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before our journey back to the Argentinean side and the Melia Iguazu Hotel. In the late afternoon, we will have our Global Medicine Lecture at the hotel. This evening enjoy a relaxing evening at the hotel and a dinner credit of $50 USD per person.

Iguazu Falls to Buenos Aires (Breakfast, Lunch) - After an early breakfast, join the Great Adventure! Board all terrain trucks to go through the jungle for about 6 km in the humid subtropical forest as far as the banks of the Iguazu River. From here, you will board special boats that will take you, at high speed, to enjoy one of the most unforgettable experiences: the direct and wet contact with the Might Iguassu Falls! You will get off the boat at the base of the Falls, onto the catwalk that connects to the lower circuit of the falls.

Back at the hotel, you will have time to freshen up and check out before a light lunch prior to departing for the airport and your mid-afternoon flight to Buenos Aires and transfer to the Celebrity Eclipse.
